This search-first lookup shows public FMCSA registration records for carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders. Before you use it, know what it is — and what it is not:
- It shows what is in the public official record — nothing more.
- A carrier record is not automatically a household-goods mover; check the entity role and household-goods authority shown in the result.
- It is not a safety guarantee and not a government recommendation.
- It does not replace reviewing the estimate and contract the mover gave you.
- You should still verify the terms in your own documents before paying a deposit.
