1. Overview
MoveQuote Check (“MoveQuote Check,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI-assisted document review service for U.S. interstate moving estimates. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
By using MoveQuote Check, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following information:
- Your email address, used to deliver reports and service-related messages.
- Moving estimates, PDFs, photographs, comparison quotes, and later Move Case documents submitted through supported product flows.
- Optional Buyer Context, such as move timing, route, inventory, access, packing, storage, and other details you choose to provide.
- Information submitted through clarification forms, including responses and documents from movers.
- Report, comparison, change-history, and case-timeline data generated from the documents and information you provide.
- Transaction information such as order identifiers, payment status, price, currency, and refund status.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, timestamps, and security or diagnostic logs.
Please avoid uploading Social Security numbers, government identification documents, payment card details, medical information, or other information that is not required to review a moving estimate.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the quote-review service.
- Extract and organize information from uploaded moving estimates.
- Generate reports, factual quote comparisons, change histories, questions, clarification forms, and automatic rechecks.
- Deliver reports and service-related emails.
- Process and confirm purchases.
- Respond to support, deletion, and refund requests.
- Detect abuse, fraud, security incidents, and technical problems.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of the service.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. AI Processing
MoveQuote Check uses third-party artificial intelligence services to assist with document extraction and analysis.
Relevant portions of uploaded documents may be transmitted to third-party AI service providers solely to provide the requested analysis. AI-generated results may contain errors or omissions and should be checked against the original document and confirmed directly with the mover.
Our configured AI provider is Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Qwen). Alibaba Cloud's current Model Studio documentation states that customer business data is not used to develop or improve models without explicit consent. Provider processing remains subject to Alibaba Cloud's applicable product terms and privacy policy. See the provider's Model Studio privacy notice.
MoveQuote Check does not use customer documents to create public content or public customer profiles.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. Creem may collect and process payment information, billing information, tax information, and transaction data according to its own terms and privacy policy.
MoveQuote Check does not receive or store complete payment card numbers or card security codes.
6. Service Providers
We may share information only as reasonably necessary with service providers that support the operation of MoveQuote Check, including:
- Payment and Merchant of Record services.
- AI document-processing providers.
- Hosting, storage, database, and security providers.
- Transactional email providers.
- Error monitoring and technical infrastructure providers.
- Professional advisers or authorities when required by law.
We do not sell personal information.
Service providers may process information only for the services they provide to us and are subject to their applicable contractual and legal obligations.
7. Document Storage and Retention
Uploaded documents are stored in private storage and are not made publicly available.
Buyer-uploaded quote files, comparison quotes, Move Case documents, mover-uploaded files, and stored source-file derivatives or intermediate conversions are automatically deleted within 30 days. On-demand clarification PDFs are generated without persistent object storage. Structured reports, comparisons, case history, and transaction records are separate from those source files.
Structured report data, transaction records, security logs, and support records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud.
Users may request deletion by contacting support@mail.movequotecheck.com. Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or security purposes.
8. Clarification Links
A mover who receives a clarification link can access only the information necessary to complete the requested form.
The mover is not shown the customer’s payment information or complete report. The secure form exposes only the fields needed for the requested clarification.
Access links must use secure, difficult-to-guess tokens and appropriate access controls.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for keeping report and clarification links private and for contacting us promptly if they believe a link has been accessed without authorization.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
You may also ask questions about how your information is handled by contacting support@mail.movequotecheck.com.
We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
11. Children’s Privacy
MoveQuote Check is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
12. International Processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use reasonable safeguards for international data transfers.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, technology, or legal requirements change. The updated effective date will be displayed at the top of this page.
